• 2003-2007: V6 models have timing belts & 4-cylinder models have timing chains
• 1997-2002: Honda timing belt on all engines 

Honda Accord Timing Belt

When you are replacing your Honda timing belt in your Civic, the intervals will change per model year. The Honda Civic timing belt, which equips models in the years 1996 – 2000 have a recommended timing belt replacement interval of 105,000 miles or 7 years. Model years 2001 – 2005 Civic require replacement at 110,000 miles or 7 years. From 2006 to present day the Honda Civic is equipped with a timing chain that won’t need replacement.

Honda Odyssey Timing Belt

Your Honda Odyssey timing belt will need replacement every 60,000 to 90,000 miles.

Honda Pilot Timing Belt

The Honda Pilot timing belt should be replaced around 90,000 miles. They can often last longer, but it’s usually a good idea to replace them before that time.
